If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a painting is worth ten times that. There is something magical about taking a cherished photograph and turning it into a custom piece of art for your family to enjoy.

Whether it's a wedding photo, your child, a beloved pet, or a family member you want to remember, a painting can capture a moment in time forever.

I've been doing portraits of people (and animals) for going on 20 years, specializing in black and white photos with a pop of color. In the example I've shown, the painting was done from two separate color photographs, and turned into a modern work of art, with a black and white, stylized look.

Due to the attention to detail, these pieces take 6-8 weeks to complete, and a limited number of slots are available each month. I would rather ensure I have the time to focus on each painting rather than churn them out assembly line style.

The size is 22x28" with gallery wrapped, staple free sized. If you are looking for a larger piece, or would like to have more than two subjects represented, please contact me directly to discuss a custom commission and pricing.

You have the option to receive the piece unframed, or framed with a custom stained wooden frame.
