Custom Portrait From Photographs - Fine Art - Original

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a painting is worth ten times that. There is something magical about taking a cherished photograph and turning it into a custom piece of art for your family to enjoy.

Whether it's a wedding photo, your child, a beloved pet, or a family member you want to remember, a painting can capture a moment in time forever.

I've been doing portraits of people (and animals) for going on 20 years, specializing in black and white photos with a pop of color. In the example I've shown, the painting was done from a photograph, and I replaced the camera on the table with a mason jar (the only part of the painting in color), because the subject used to always drink from mason jars.

Due to the attention to detail, these pieces take 6-8 weeks to complete, and a limited number of slots are available each month. I would rather ensure I have the time to focus on each painting rather than churn them out assembly line style.

Choose the size, 16x20 or 18x24. Anything larger needs to be custom ordered, and price will vary slightly, as well as if there are more than two subjects in the painting as it adds considerable time to the process.
